Port Merch and Walter Salas-Humara team with The VFTA Foundation
The Voice For The Animals Foundation is offering an original "Walter's Dog" dog painting exclusively through Port Merchandise. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the Dogs will go to the VFTA, a Santa Monica based organization devoted to creating respect and empathy for animals through education, rescue, advocacy and legislation. T-shirt Models Needed
Port Merch is looking for a few folks to model T-shirts for our online stores. We need both men and women. You certainly do NOT have to have 'classic model' look; in fact, funky hair, tats, or an overall "alternative" look can be a plus, but not required. Mostly we just want friendly, energetic, interesting, and dependable folks that can spare a couple hours periodically. Couples, roommates, friends, are encouraged to apply. That way you can share a ride, plus folks that know one another tend to be more comfortable getting their picture taken.
The pay is $15 an hour, and we usually only need you for a couple hours. That's an easy $30 (cash)!
A typical photoshoot takes place somewhere in Raleigh. We'll just coordinate a nice afternoon that several of us can meet up. We'll bring anywhere from 5 - 10 clothing items and start snapping pics. We'll make sure we always meet near a place where you can change shirts privately.

Echo Mountain Records Online Store Launched.
2008 has kicked off with the addition of Echo Mountain Records as Port's newest client. Based in Asheville, NC, Echo Mountain Records is an offshoot of the acclaimed Echo Mountain Recording Studio. The label currently has releases out by Tyler Ramsey (of Band of Horses) and Malcolm Holcombe. Check out their new online store, why don'tcha?

The Twin Cities' major metal export, After The Burial, was recently added to Port Merch's roster. Along with their most recent release, Forging a Future Self, ATB's online store has lots of cool clothes including T's, Hoodies, and Jerseys. Port Merch is proud to welcome our newest client, New Jersey's Holler, Wild Rose! Their new CD Our Little Hymnal will be released on September 18 and is available now through their online store.
